Deconstruction of Film Titles in City of God

For our film trailer, I also researched the titles in the teaser trailer for City of God, a drama which is very similar to the social realist genre as it includes aspects of moral panics, such as the prevalence of violence within teenage groups, and so could be helpful in inspiring our own titles.

Evaluation

From this research, we have decided to include plot-based titles within our trailer so as to reveal more about the plot and to also create enigmas, which is conventional for teaser trailers. We will likely not include clips behind the titles, but will have a black background, and our typography will emulate the style of social media text, and so will link in to the trailer well.
