Shattering Glass Sound Practical

In our teaser trailer, towards the end, there is a scene where the protagonist punches a mirror, hence breaking it. I have decided to attempt to make a shattering glass sound effect which could possibly accompany this shot.
To do so, I need the following materials:

> Glassware - I have chosen to include perfume and nail polish bottles, which are easy and fairly cheap to purchase, and most likely can already be found in the household

> Metal objects - I have chosen bolts, loose change and nail clippers

> A small material bag, where the objects will be placed inside - I have chosen a make up bag, which is again easy to purchase and is likely to already be within the household.

To create the sound effect, we very simply place these objects into the bag, and then very gently drop the bag into our hands. This way, no actual glass will be broken, hence reducing risk of injury occurring.

This is the final sound effect I was able to produce

Evaluation
Though this practical is useful, it is unlikely that we will include this sound effect in our trailer, as it does not produce the required effect, though a thinner bag with more objects inside of it potentially could have. However, we have decided that the only diegetic sound we will include will be the voice overs in the time-lapse scene, as we do not want to detract from the original score.
